Scarlet ..... - a not so pretty picture

inside her soul
colours start to mix
ones that would make
all your feelings mix

she paints inside her mind
visions we can not see

hey eyes fall blank
vision starts to blur
the world around her
fades to just a purr
her soft words
fall from her lips
as she start to slur

sitting there
consumed
swallowed up whole
in a world
we can not know

she dreams madness
she alone knows
as she paints in her mind
a not so pretty picture
