Scan Eagle launches to look for pirates
Description
GULF OF ADEN (Jan 19, 2009) A Scan Eagle unmanned aerial vehicle is launched from the flight deck of the guided- Missile destroyer USS Mahan (DDG 72) as part of Combined Task Force (CTF) 151, the multi-national task force conducting counterpiracy operations to detect and deter piracy in and around the Gulf of Aden, Arabian Gulf, Indian Ocean and Red Sea.
