The HP TopShot LaserJet Pro M275 is the first consumer scanner able to easily scan and print images of 3D objects. With a arm-mounted camera on the top of the device, you can place objects under the arm, where the scanner records a series of images and then uses those images to create an image of your object. One of the most likely applications for this is product photography for artists and crafters who make things like jewelry, hand crafts and other smaller objects for sale on sites like Etsy and eBay.
