Sayjel Mistry - War's End

Now that war has ended,
that disagreement has mended.
Although food is still in ration,
Soldiers and their wives can show their passion.
In person they may,
If they do so wish, every day.
Many celebrated,
Soldiers commorated.
We had one,
So now your son.
In the ground he lays,
Day after day.
To him you never lost,
His life was the cost.
