Long before the beginning of human civilisation, trees have been essential to supporting life, promoting biodiversity and maintaining eco-systems. Human activity such as deforestation has seen the global tree count fall by 46%. In this debate Executive Director of Greenpeace Kumi Naidoo and General Director of The Forest Stewardship Council Kim Carstensen discuss the importance and benefits of responsible Forest Management.
