Saving Default Settings in a Strategy | NinjaTrader Strategy Tip

Once you have your TradeManager parameters set according to your preferences

1. Right-click anywhere on the right-side of the Strategy Dialog window
2. A small "Set Default for IwTradeManager" will pop up
2. Left-click on "Set Default for IwTradeManager"

This will create a strategy template file (Documents\NinjaTrader 7\templates\Strategy), and it will define the defaults for the next time you add TradeManager to a chart.

However, there are limits to what can be saved in the defaults template. All of the truly custom settings are saved... However, none of the "General" settings are saved, like "Account", "Enabled" and "CalculateOnBarClose". NinjaTrader does not allow for those to be saved as default values in "Strategy Default" templates. Distributed by OneLoad.com
