SAVING A PHONE DROPPED ON TRAIN TRACKS

Watch this video in which the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) crew skilfully retrieves a phone from the railway track while the train is parked at the station.
Jace Chu from Hong Kong was waiting for the metro at the train station with her daughter.
When the train arrived, both of them started to step into the train, but someone bumped into the daughter, and she dropped her phone down the gap.
Thankfully, the staff were quick to help save the phone.
Jace said: “My daughter was devastated, and we thought we had lost it forever. It was now impossible to retrieve.
“But the MTR crew arrived and used a grabber tool to very slowly pick the phone up from the railway track and hand it over.
“We were so relieved and are so thankful for the crew.”
