Ένα φιλμάκι που έγινε για υποστήρίξη της εκστρατείας ενάντια στην ανέγερση γηπέδου γκολφ στην περιοχή της Λίμνης στην Πόλη Χρυσοχούς της επαρχίας Πάφου. Η περιοχή περιλαμβάνει ένα ιδιαίτερα ευαίσθητο οικοσύστημα, καθώς σε αυτό αναπαράγονται οι θαλάσσιες χελώνες καρέτα-καρέτα. Επίσης, το μοναδικό αυτό οικοσύστημα βρίσκεται δίπλα από την ευρύτερη περιοχή "Φύση 2000" ("Natura 2000") της χερσονήσου του Ακάμα και του οροπεδίου της Λαόνας, μια από τις λίγες περιοχές στην Κύπρο όπου η μανία της "ανάπτυξης" την άφησε σε μεγάλο βαθμό ανεπηρέαστη, παρά το γεγονός ότι αποτελεί συνεχή στόχο επιχειρηματιών ανάπτυξης γης. Η κρίση γίνεται απλά η αφορμή και για άλλη μια φορά οι επιχειρηματίες ζητούν χαλαρώσεις στην προστατευμένη περιοχή. Ας τους σταματήσουμε λοιπόν!

A short film made in support of the campaign against the construction of a golf course in the area of Limni, near Polis Chrysochous, in the Paphos district. The site includes a highly sensitive ecosystem, in which the sea turtles Caretta caretta are breeding. Moreover, this unique ecosystem is located next to the wider "Natura 2000" region of the Akamas peninsula and the Laona plateau, one of the very few areas in Cyprus where the menace of "growth" left it to a large extent unaffected, despite the fact that there are continuous efforts by the business sector to promote rampant land development projects. The crisis is just the excuse and once again businessmen are seeking relaxations in the status of the protected area. Let's stop them!
