Millions of cats are suffering in Pakistani streets, because nobody cares and tries to think about them. Especially lots of cats are dying in the streets by the careless attitude of vehicle drivers. In the streets the only shelter for them are vehicles, where they feel safe and comfortable but unfortunately they don’t know that it is a great danger for them. Early in the morning when car,bus,van,rickshaw drivers come out to start their vehicles without looking around or down the vehicle and start it in urgency that becomes the major cause of cats death in unknown accidents. Our survey team found many cats’ dead bodies in the streets due to the careless attitude of vehicles drivers. The government never takes any action against such miserable accidents which dying of cats on has become a daily routine.
Why Cats chose vehicles?
In Pakistan there is no system any animal shelter. Cats are no exception and they are the major victims. The streets cats feel safe take a shelter under the vehicles, they eat food there and even sleep there with their kittens under the vehicles. There are not precise arrangements for their safety in the streets. The get food from the garbage to survive and get shelter from weather conditions under these vehicles, which in fact dangerous for them.
Our Aim
Our aim is to create the awareness in the society to save the lives of innocent cats. And moreover the reflection of the beauty of nature.
Our Mission.
1- We will design at least ten millions A4 size leaflets about the measures to be taken for the safety of cats and shall deliver it from door to door.
2- We shall make documentaries about the actual situation about cats in the streets in order to create awareness. We shall deliver the message to vehicles owner/drivers that how can they save the cats as they start their vehicles.
3- We will design the streamer that will be placed in the streets to create the awareness among people to save cats.
4- We shall design a website to create awareness on this issue.
5- The flexes will be placed on the back of at least ten thousand out rickshaws as part of a mobile campaign.
6- We shall arrange a place measures at least one kanal and built a shelter their which will be names “Save Street Cats House”.
7- A full veterinary doctor will be there in this house to take care of the injured and sick cats clinically.
