According to Mother Nature Network, even though it’s technically the second largest planet, Saturn proves to be a “star” in our solar system.
The planet has long held our interest since its discovery by Galileo in 1610. Since then, Saturn has not only held our attention, but has even inspired us to build space craft to visit it.
In 1997, NASA launched the Cassini orbiter with the mission of providing us images of the planet.
