A new space race has begun that threatens world peace and security as private companies and nation states rush to colonise the skies with satellites. Tech billionaire Elon Musk has already sent 3,000 satellites into orbit to provide internet connections anywhere on earth. This gives Musk considerable geopolitical clout and pushes China and Europe to join the race.
