Satan's Sibling - Denile

She sits in her room,
Me at her door.
I am waiting for truth,
I fall to the floor.
Not sure how she feels,
Though her signals are clear.
That emotion is love,
But something, she fears.

Fire on embers,
Burning like coals.
Something is hidden,
My knowledge still has holes.
I am unconscious on the ground,
The heart within,
Cries out for her,
But this love is a sin.

I love her,
And always will,
I never have known,
Time to stand still.
So I guess my heart's tame,
As I taste sweet success,
Soon I will be free,
My mind never rests.

For it thinks of her.
