Description

Races toward never-ending finish lines
Find me stumbling over the weakness in my eyes.
I strive to grow and thrive in a seemingly stunted world.

Quickly forgotten philosophies are epistemic, yet forgotten all the same.
Fumbling fingers coated in denial are working to flip through clues—
Clues to the puzzle that now composes this befuddled mind.

This environment is forever changing, forever growing,
Along with my enlightenment.
Each day births a new phase in this development.

I plead for continuance to struggle to make sense out of life,
Holding close the knowledge that I will never apprehend the wonders of my mind.
Still yet, it is part of growing in this for me to try.

A disintegrating hope shields this weakened, beaten heart.
The search for true love is a difficult one.
I ponder the thought that my time has already come.

Short spasms of affection stem through my nerve-endings
and I find my heart growing, reaching, bending,
to catch this intangible possibility.
I struggle to reach what I believe I left too easily.

A full-circle ending; this strange world begins to make sense of itself.

Life is an endless classroom.
This world will continue to teach,
Blind men will preach,
And I will breathe in all of the truth I can.
I will live life as freely as I can.
