The rain came in torrents
And leaves fell like confetti
Because it was October
And I was happy

I erased your e-mail address
And deleted your phone number
Because I was kidding myself
And I had to move on.

And danced in the shower
Because it was October
And I was happy.

The temperature dropped bellow 60
And I started to breathe again
Because even though I was alone
I was going to be ok.
