Sara Stowell - A Painted Dream

Dream's canvas lives inside,
A place that's just for me.
Painting all the priceless pictures,
Of love that is to be.

Colors live on the page,
And give the painting light.
Adding that little thing,
That makes it worth the sight.

Brushes never seem to stop,
Their strokes continue on.
Painting that one I love,
Until the dream is gone.

But while it is still here,
Inside my dreamy land.
This painting here in front of me,
Shows us hand in hand.

For when I lay lost in thought,
Sleeping the whole night through.
Every thought inside of me,
Are painted dreams of you.
