Sara Sabeti - city

What a strange night it is,
The city is filled with a breeze
colder than your eyes.

The night is calm,
people feel numb,
because of this deadly cold.

I lay on my bed,
with lots of thoughts piled in my head
About yesterday, today and tomorrow:

What am I doing here?
What have I done in here?
How all this will end?
I still don't know...

I just know that some day,
some where, something good will happen,
Happiness will show me its face
And makes the city light and warm...
