Sara Fielder - Mary Bell

Description
Living the life of a damsel fly
I spread my veined wings wide
Mid shade and greenish sheens
The otherworld has no power
It'd steal what nature freely shares
Forests full of clear, clean air
My currency, the flowers
Their fruity cores a nectar store
I delicately sip
And curry colored pollens stick
My legs shake door to door
Compound eyes two microscopes
Multiple dimensions speaking in code
My bodice the color of blue cheese mold
An insect world on dope
A breeze blows past my cedar shelf
Black filamentary arms as thin as thread
No thought 'cept awareness in my head
And my name is Miss Mary Bell
