Sara Amidon - Life

Description
How wonderful it is.
Where people just don’t get you
Those Christian figures hate you…
If you’re not perfect…
Can we be denied our integrity?
Can we actually LOSE that too?
It’s unfair how we are treated
Like dogs just shoved aside
Or slaves, yet alive are
Whipped
With words that hurt your soul
This damn society
Is falling to the ground
Where it mumbles and crumbles
Breaks down into rubble
Among the hatred hell touches
Every… single… part… of this world
Blazing fires
Screaming horror
IS THIS WHAT WE’RE CONDEMNED TO BE!
Screwed up figures
Disfigured human beings
Shown what we’re worth
Yet nothing at all…
-this poem is not against any religion sorry if i offended anyone i am christian myself.
