Sanjeevani Kaul - God

What does God mean to you?
He is a divine soul,
Who helps you achieve every goal.
He is the one who helps you face,
The difficulties of a changing phase.
He is the one who makes you believe,
Whether a thing is wrong or will give you relief.
God is not an idol, he is not a man,
But he is in the heart of every human.
If you want his favour, be just and fair in life,
Try to live in peace, avoid having strife.
The best thing you can do to serve your lord,
Is to serve your fellow men against all odds.
Be on the right track whatever be the circumstances,
Never be enticed by the bad world's fancies.
This is the only way to reach God,
And be favoured by the great lord.
