Sandra Stolnik - What else can I give?

What more can a poem give,
than pleasure to know I care,
that I took the time to sit and write,
as I have the time to spare?

It’s okay to share what’s in my heart
and what things are on my mind.
I want to give you something back,
like the friendship that in you I find.

We all love to give and receive things
from those we love and like a lot.
That’s why I love to write poems for friends,
to give them back the love I got.
