my self destruction
is all your fault,
He put me down,
he told me lies,
he used me as a trophy,
he never really wanted me,
he broke my heart

my self destruction
is all your fault,
He made me self doubt,
he made me self conscious,
he made me feel utterly hideous,
he made me think I was nothing and no one,
he made me believe I wasn't worth anything

my self destruction
is all my fault,
I believed in him,
I trusted him,
I believed every word that came out of his mouth,
I thought he was everything,
I thought he was sweet

my self destruction
is making me better,
I became more aware,
I became more cold,
I had no more kindness to give,
I put walls up to block everything out

my self destruction
is making me whole,
I met a man
He made my walls crumble
he made me laugh
he made me cry
he made my smile real
he made me think
he he is slowly fixing a broken girl
and he still makes me happy
