San Diego isn't all about the weather, or the Navy, for that matter. While Southern California's other metropolis hasn't completely shed its military bearing and its tourism industry is largely anchored in a near-perfect climate, the San Diego economy is remarkably diverse and heavily tilted toward the middle market.
