Description

A little bird once told me
How white was the color of love
He waved his feathers from an autumn tree
Showing a chrome I never dreamed of

The harmless creature came and said
That the truth about love is very close
It’s only us that are most mislead
For ignorance we embrace most

He glided above reciting his verse
Whistling every word, sound after sound
This was his way for him to converse
Before awkward silence intones around

The time disappeared, the bird flew away
Perhaps it was me who invented the scene
I looked to the sky, gone was the day
To the mind false hope is most obscene

I never quite knew what he really meant
As the truth about love wasn’t yet revealed
I figured the bird wanted me to invent
As the truth about love shall always be concealed
