The rose that struck me with its thorn,
Stung me deep, and red adorned
My sky of unrequited battle spree
And sleeves of consolation torn.
Save me from these words of love
That will reach you never,
These rose thorns I am dreaming of,
As hardened heart is mine forever.
Forgive me, having sought your way,
For me to cry in words I say.
Rose thorns nevermore excite,
Stung me deep, in deepest nights.
She collided, and her thorn
Had my heart in red adorned.
