Sammy and Ray, two sea turtles who've been friends forever, live happily beside a coral reef. Carefree, they are teaching their young grandchildren, Ricky and Ella, to take their first steps into the sea when they get caught in a net. They've been captured by poachers who don't hesitate to sell them off to a gigantic underground acquarium in Dubai. Our two favorite turtles then get to know Lulu the Mustache, an adorable lobster who is a touch mad, Jimbo, a rather miraculous, goggle-eyed fish, and Big Boss Sea Horse, the head of the gang and a bit of a megalomaniac who never makes a move without his two moray eel body guards. When Sammy and Ray understand that Big Boss is preparing a major escape from the acquarium, they're dubious - and they're right to be so... Will they manage to put together their own plan? And will those two little scamps Ricky and Ella manage to come to the aid of their grandfathers? If you like action-packed adventures where squid lend a helping hand - sorry, tentacle - to turtles, you will of course find the answer...
