I knew I would feel lost without you
But just how much I never realized
That is until today
When all the memories were brought back to life...
I tried so hard to find you
I only wanted a moment to see your face
But this time I am convinced
Your love for me you have erased.
I can't figure out just how to let go
My heart and soul are crushed
You don't love me anymore...
You were my first love
And you will be my last
Yes my heart you'll always have...
I can understand and accept why your saying goodbye
But it does not help the pain I am feeling inside...
I think about all the regret we both have
I wish I could take back all the mean things I said
I hope you know I did not mean them
My heart is aching so bad inside
Please believe me I have nothing to hide.
These past 7 years have taught me so much
I would never give them up only change them some what...
But now I will go
I have my closure
