Samantha Tirado - Wounded

I look out for you hurting me
There was always a fire against us
But I just couldn't quench it
I have trained my heart to
Distinguish bad from good
But my heart was dumb and didn't know
What was once done can be done again.
Slowly and painfully
The way you tore my heart apart
My heart has learned that
Apologizing is pathetic
My wounds are still bandaged
But will never heal.
