Is it just me?
Or have we ran out things to talk about?
I'd rather die a thousand times
Than rip your heart out

But something has to be done
Are you feeling empty too,
Or am I the only one?
Should I suffocate my heart for you?

I remember us in the beginning,
Love was so fresh and sweet,
But I don't feel the same,
I feel incomplete

I would love to let go,
But I don't know if you could take it
I would like to believe one day I'll be happy
Yet I have a feeling I'll never make it

We have to resort to hollow affection
To keep from having an awkward pause
All it can do is distract,
To keep the effect from having a cause
