Description

I am 16, lonely black and out of this world
Living in a class where I stand out specially,
like a single black dot on a white sheet of paper
Being tortured and embarrassed is of the norm
but my heart never keeps it down

I sit there alone, in my class
Even as people are passing by,
they never lent their hands to me
Their crystal white hands would never contact my alienated black
Yes, I am a alien,
one that no one is fascinated and ignored
I am 16, lonely black and out of this world

One day,
I have decided.
I will no longer be the dot on a white sheet of paper
Tomorrow, I shall join the whites
Never should I be pushed around,
never should I be laughed
never should I be the good old blacky
and NEVER should I be discriminated!
I am 16, lonely black and out of this world

The day has come,
I am standing on a bridge,
looking up into the white- colored sky
Within an instant moment,
all I see is white....

I have succeed in becoming one with the white

I am 16,
an alien,
out of this world,
My color?
It is white.
