The arc flash of the heavens igniting the flames of my soul 
Drinking whiskey with John Lennon staring in his eyes of coal
Told him I've seen it all when I was small that's why I never got too tall
He told me I was full of shit that I couldnt even walk around my own wall
I laughed as I poured him another double shot of the stuff
He quickly drank it down gave me a smirk and poured me another crutch
I choked on the whiskey it went down a little rough
Lit up a fresh cigarette and took that ravishing first puff
I felt so immortal me and John walking among ancient deity
The knowledge in my being way beyond all society
John told me not to worry that my generation lied to me
That one day they'll shoot me down and my children will cry to me
The voice of my generation I will be killed like a dog in the mud
In front of millions my body will rise into the sky hitting the clouds with a thud
The entire earth will shake I cut him off and said John go to the fridge and grab me a cold beer
