cool winds and cloudy skies
last glimpse of butterflies
autumn comes to us at last
summer heat in the past

leaves of gold and reds so bright
birds begin their southern flight
and oh those cozy fires will glow
seasonal creeks begin to flow

oh Autumn nights I welcome you
to summer I bid you adieu.
