SALK to elektroniczna ryba głębinowa, stworzona przez trzech muzyków i poetę. Zespół powstał pod koniec 2015 roku w Krakowie i w piątym miesiącu swojego istnienia dołączył do szeregów warszawskiej wytwórni NEXTPOP. SALK wierzy w równość muzyki i słowa, a także w to, że polska piosenka to wciąż dobra piosenka. W roku 2016 zespół zagrał dziesiątki koncertów, do których unikalne wizualizacje tworzy polska artystka, Dorota Tylka. Album ,,Matronika” został świetnie przyjęty przez fanów a koncert promujący album na festiwalu ENEA Spring Break był frekwencyjnym sukcesem. Strony branżowe BRAND NEW ANTHEM oraz SO MUSIC okrzyknęły ich największą muzyczną nadzieją na rok 2017. Do ich ważniejszych osiągnięć artystycznych zaliczyć można również wygraną w konkursie Skoda Auto Muzyka, występ na Soundrive Festival, a także udział w 16 Festiwalu Filmu Niemego w Krakowie, gdzie na żywo tworzyli muzykę do horroru ,,Upadek Domu Usherów”. Media oraz fani często wspominają o konwencji, w jakiej SALK prowadzi social media, a bloger muzyczny MUZYK 2.0 określił to zjawisko ,,indiowym światem pierogów, falafli, europalet i kotów mówiących głosem z syntezatora Ivona”. Zespół szybko wypracował własny sposób porozumiewania się z fanami, a przeglądając ich strony społecznościowe można poczuć się członkiem tajemnego plemienia, które żyje

SALK is an electronic deep sea fish, created by three musicians and a poet. The band was formed in late 2015 in Cracow, and in the fifth month of their existence joined the ranks of the Warsaw label NEXTPOP. SALK believes in the equality of music and words, as well as the fact that a Polish song is still a good song. In 2016 the band played dozens of concerts with unique visuals, created by the Polish artist Dorota Tylka. Album „Matronika” has been warmly welcomed by the fans and enthusiastically received by the rest, while the attendance on a concert promoting the record on ENEA Spring Break Festival exceeded expectations. Online based music portals such as BRAND NEW ANTHEM and SO MUSIC had declared SALK the most promising band of 2017. Among their most important artistic achievements are: winning the Skoda Auto Music contest, performing during Soundrive Festival, as well as participating in the 16th Festival of Silent Film in Cracow, where they created music for the horror film "Fall of the House of Usher". Media and fans often mention the way in which SALK exist in social media. The blogger MUZYK 2.0 described their phenomenon as an "indie world full of dumplings, falafels, Euro pallets and cats speaking through a voice synthesizer". The band quickly developed their own way of communicating with fans and when visiting their social networking sites you feel like a member of a secret tribe that lives deep underwater and eats dumplings, mainly.
