Sakib Choudhury - Alone

Been alone for so long that I am yearning
to have some sort of affection to hold onto
allowing the sensation of warmth overwhelm
The bottomless pit in the middle of my heart
Repairing it to the former glory once felt
In what seems to be a lifetime ago

As the one meant for me holds onto him
With fingers entwined to form as one
As she gently strokes her hand upon his face
Allowing her love and warmth fill him
With tranquility desperatly coveted by me
