Saiful vs father: Anwar should repent vs he is innocent

Saiful Bukhari's father today apologised to Anwar Ibrahim, saying his son was used by irresponsible quarters to slander the opposition leader.

Azlan Mohd Lazim said Anwar is innocent and a victim of the allegations made by Saiful, which he notes, has brought Anwar and his family great suffering.

In a bizarre turn of events, Saiful Bukhari at another press conference said he is saddened by his father statement, fearing his father has been used by Anwar.

Saiful stressed that he would not retract his allegations on Anwar, insisting he will remain steadfast and stick to the allegation, and the testimony which he gave in court.
