This Safe Sparring Highlights Demo is not nearly as clean a the Safe Sparring that I have with DJ. With all these former students, they don't have the experience or athleticism like DJ, so the demonstration is not as clean. But with all of them, they all weigh much more than me and they are much taller, they could take some abuse and they can keep on going. But the problem is, when you don't have as much experience, emotions can get involved with anger, and when you get angry, you can find it hard to control your combative techniques, with lack of control, what is supposed to be Safe Sparring can easily turn into a real fight in a split second. Also when people get hurt, hospital bills can get involved, lawsuits, and all sorts of problems.

People have to understand that when you train as a Martial Artist, it is not like combat sport where you jump inside a ring to fight for money, when you are training as a Martial Artist, you are testing your combative abilities to survive on the streets and it is to neither of your benefit to be seriously injured. Serious injuries are no fun for anyone, it's like getting in a major car accident, it's to no benefit to either driver.

If you are truly good at driving, then you should not be involved in serious accidents. If you are truly a great Martial Artist, then neither you nor your sparring partner should ever be seriously injured.
