Under the mulberry tree so green
Who loves to lie with me,
Here shall he see no enemy,

For a song so sweet,
Seeking the fruit he eats,
Pleased with what he gets.

Such fruit as mulberry,
For the taste so merry,
For the tongue so savvy,

Come hither, come hither,
Here shall we see,
Mulberry from our field green,
Winter and rough weather there.

Spring sweet some fruits sweet,
Is this better or that better,
Mulberry here mulberry there
Sweeter mulberry over here.
