It's because of you my heart hurts
Feels like I've become a cold-blooded
animal without your warmth
Half-hearted without your love
Half a person without you
It's because of you life isn't quite real
It seems as if nothing exists
As if you were life
My life, at least
Your cologne, my air
Vital.

And without it, I'm deceased
Spiritually, almost physically
And it's because of you
My heart doesn't beat joyfully
It beats so I can live
It's becuase of you it seems as if
My future can't proceed
I can't go on
My sould yearns for your prescence
It needs you, I need you
I wish I could turn back the hands of time
As impossible as it may seem, I still wish I could
And then my life would be real,
You'd be mine
And my heart would be what
it once was
