Sachin Modi - Longing for the Abstract

A strange desire fills my heart
of wanting to merge into the abstract
tears roll down my cheeks for some unknown reason
maybe I am bored of this
physical and mental circus

This being longs for complete rest
drinking the juice of the abstract
The world seems so real
but this longing asks, 'why is it there? '
It should better disappear

This longing gives pain
but the pain is sweet
It has cracked open the shells
allowing the soothing rays of the abstract

This pain of ignorance and isolation
Urging me to join the eternal celebration
Strange is this longing for the abstract
