That girl isn't who you wanna be

She wanted the world
She asked for a lot
But the world is what she got

Beauty and fame
People knew her name
Envious girls and adoring boys
She thought she had all the joys

But there was something missing from her heart
Something keeping her apart

Mirror mirror
Who is she?
I ask once more

My child my child
Can't you see?
The strong resemblance between you and she?

Girl dear girl
She's the one standing there
Looking in this mirror combing her hair

Mirror mirror
I think I see
But how can it be?
Is that sad girl me?
