Sabeel

“Sabeel” directed by Khalid Al-Mahmood is a new ÉCU 2012 submission competing in the Non-European Dramatic short category. A story of two young boys who are taking care of their sick grandmother. They spend their days growing and selling vegetables in order to buy medicine for their grandmother. Having the road as the main source of making a living, it is the road that will determine their destiny.

“Sabeel” realisé par Khalid Al-Mahmood est une nouvelle inscription pour ÉCU 2012 en compétition dans la catégorie des courts-métrages non européen. Une histoire de deux jeunes garçons qui s'occupent de leur grand-mère malade. Ils passent leurs jours en faisant pousser et en vendant des légumes pour acheter les médicaments de leur grand-mère. La route étant leur source de revenu principale, c'est elle qui déterminera leur destin.
