Description
Ingredients:
For Savera/White Dough:###
50 gms butter###
50 gms caster sugar###
1 bowl wheat flour###
1-2 tbsp refined flour/maida###
4-5 drops vanilla essence###
For Saanjh/Black Dough:###
1 bowl wheat flour###
1/2 tsp baking soda###
2 tbsp refined flour/maida###
50 gms butter###
50 gms caster sugar###
2 tbsp cocoa powder
Method:
For Savera/White Dough:###
Take butter in a bowl. Add sugar, and mix well until smooth.###
Take wheat flour in a separate bowl.###
Add in refined flour, and mix well.###
Add the mixture of butter and sugar. Mix and knead well.###
Add vanilla essence; mix and knead a little more.###
For Saanjh/Black Dough:###
Take wheat flour in a bowl.###
Add in baking soda and refined flour; mix well.###
Take butter in a separate bowl. Add sugar, and mix well until smooth.###
Add this mixture and cocoa powder to the dry mixture of flour. Mix and knead well.###
For Cookies:###
Take out small portion of the black dough, and roll it round to a ball. Take out small portion of the white dough, and roll it round to a ball. Take both the balls in your hand; mix and roll them round into one ball. Flatten a little. Place it on a grater, and press gently to design it. Repeat for more cookies with different designs.###
Transfer all the cookies to a greased oven plate.###
Bake in the oven preheated at 200 degree, for 20 minutes. Flip to other side, and bake for 4 minutes.###
Saanjh Savera Cookies are ready to serve.
