S. Korea's exports decrease on-year for sixth consecutive month in May

Concerns are mounting over South Korea's exports,... with the latest data showing outbound shipments had fallen... for the sixth consecutive month in May.
According to the trade ministry on Saturday,... Korea's total exports were tallied at around 45-point-nine billion U.S. dollars last month.
This is down more than nine-percent... compared to the same period last year.
The ministry attributed the fall to the worsening trade dispute between the U.S. and China,... and a fall in semiconductor prices.
Imports also decreased by almost two percent on-year in May,... amounting to roughly 43-point-six billion dollars.
