Description

(1)

me, my, —my bloody faux pas!
Gasconading a foofaraw, the jittery doll.

hook, line, & sink-her with a sculpted jaw:
gaucherie grand and malleable hand—

five-finger-forehead, elitist smurfette,
with the high-arched feet, allusive plaintive.

filament to the firmament: ear to the heavens,
equip with a shield made of tarnished legions.

Glow a pale silver under a cocktail moon,
a respite, abeyance from the frangible noon.

Where ache hath vacant to all concern;
a febrile mind, and fierce discern.

(2)

santum of succor: restore the roseate cheeks,
thaw the gelidness from the lids; as I must continue

on
to-night.

A fulsome dawn, awaits the tender:
luminary body paving a path in splendor.

sapient sublunary: who hath seen so much,
yet presides so young, in historical countenance.

Come in from the cold with your poems
& your verse. Come in from the cold:

all feebly perceived, she'll require no
provenders, but the wind up your sleeve.
