The only reason anyone
would ever have control
of another
is if he or she concedes:

consensual control.

that moment—or series of moments
when you
relinquish all power—letting them,
in effect, take the Hand: right & left.

Yes, this is consensual—agreement on both
ends. There is no such thing as “controlling; ”

we are all controlling, seeking out our fate—
grasping, clawing like animals to reach some
sense of security, moment of translucence, an
aura of peace within oneself—

pushing others to the brink, man or woman,
as such is human nature.

Yet, we individually—have the ability—
to assume the wheel
opt: hold or heel
& keep in drive, no passenger to steer.

So take up the control stick—
in your right or left hand.
Either way, take the control stick,
and that’s where it will stay.
