Pain so strong, you can’t bare the feel
Something’s gone wrong, the devil is real
You stop and think twice, where can I go?
I will keep on moving, God only knows

I have no more cards, I can no longer deal

I continue to walk, how far will I go?
Always look straight, God only knows

I am only human, my faith you won’t steal
Something’s gone wrong, the devil is real
If it is broken, can it be fixed?
I think to myself, is God playing tricks

My eyes are now open, my sight you can’t seal
Something’s gone wrong, the devil is real
If He’s not real, what happens to me?
He has to be real, because it’s Him that I see

When the devil plays tricks, you think you’ve had your last meal
Don’t end your life yet, the devil is real
Don’t look to the ground, look up at Him
If you stare at the sky, you’ll brighten from dim

So if life is to hard, life you can’t take
Just think to yourself, the devil is fake
He can’t take your soul, your flesh he can’t peal
Because He’s watching you, it’s God who is real
