Ryan Sanders - Trance Thought

As I gaze into the vastness of our Unconscious
I realize just how separated we have become
From our true selves as Human Beings
Caught up in this system called 'Society'
We have been distracted
From what truly matters
Ourselves, our minds, our brothers and sisters of Earth
Across the expansive oceans
We are connected but separated
By the institution of hierarchical society
To make us think we are better than those who are of 'difference'
When in fact we are all creatures and siblings of Earth
We are all one in the same

These systems of Capitalism, Communism, Fascism, Totalitarianism
Are all one in the same as well
To rule over us all
But declared not the same
By those who rule
Who are themselves one in the same
Intermarried into thirteen families
When will we come to realize
That the one who shakes the Olive Branch
Also shakes the arrows?
