My face soaked in tears
My knees are shaky
My chest is beating
The moments are fleeting
I can't do this alone
I need you with me
Stop acting so strong
I need to see you hurt as well
I need to know the pain is real

Will you be happy
I know I won't
I can't escape the thoughts of you
Will you think of me as much as I do you
Will you wake in the night, heart aching
Will you stay in bed just wondering what I'm doing
I'm still close to you but I've already begun

I want you to be okay but I want you to hurt
I need you to be happy
But if I suffer I need to know you do too
Do you think I'm insane
Do you feel the same
Is this what love feels like,
Pure ecstasy and and absolute misery
