RV Air Conditioner Maintenance

In this video, I clean and inspect my Keystone Cougar fifth wheel trailers Coleman Mach 3 air conditioner. Model AirXcel 48203A866

First I TURNED OFF ALL POWER to the Air Conditioner by unhooking the AC power cable and disconnecting the 12-volt batteries.

I show how I clean both the evaporator and condenser coils and straighten bent fins on both. I then reseal the inside chamber with new aluminum ducting tape and clean the sponge input filter.

I also add some lubricant on the shaft of the fan motor and inspect the unit. I check for debris and clean the chassis. Finally, I test the system for optimal cooling temperature differential using an IR gun.
