Ruth Gordon - At Age Three
4 Views • Jun 12, 2014
Description
I wanted to play
Just to have fun
Would make my day
No worry no care
Nothing hanging in the air
Oh the beauty of being three
Laughing with mischievous insanity
Never knowing the woe
That I caused when saying no
Sunlight, rippling laughter and glowing eyes
Never knowing the difference between truth and lies
Oh in my mind I fought with it:
What is a secret?
With another candle being blown out
I finally learnt to doubt
Ruth Gordon
