Rumours around Ronan Keating's marriage split

Despite Ronan Keating announcing he and his wife Yvonne have split up 'amicably,' there are now reports claiming the break-up is due to infidelity.

According to numerous tabloids, Ronan has allegedly had an affair with one of the band's backing dancers.

Ronan's publicist said there will be no comment regarding these claims.

The Boyzone frontman announced the breakdown of his marriage "with great sadness" on his website on Thursday lunchtime saying the seperation was "amicable" and "they will continue to work together in order to provide the best for their children."

Ronan and Yvonne married in 1998 and have three children together - Jack, 11, Marie, 9, and Ali, 4.

News of the couples separation comes less than a year after the death of Ronan's friend and bandmate Stephen Gately.

Speaking at an event last night, Stephen's widower Andrew Cowels said: "I sent them both lovely messages today, he and Yvonne, because they're both friends and you know, these things happen. They're a great couple."
